Who we are

Rockies is run by LuCo Health and Fitness Limited, registered in Ireland, company number 794364. Our registered office and gym are at Unit 3, Riverside Business Park, Tinahely, Co. Wicklow, Y14 PT68.

We decide how your details are used. Contact us at [email protected].

What we collect

• Your first name and email address.
• Your mobile number.
• Your answers to our three questions: how often you'd like to train, when, and what kind of training.
• Where you found our link, for example Instagram or a poster.
• Your consent: the wording you agreed to, and when.
• Basic details about your browser and connection, such as your IP address, for the spam check.

Your name, mobile, email and answers are needed to join the list.

We don't ask about your health, and we don't need it. Please don't send us health details by email.

What we use it for

• Messages. To send you Rockies news and offers by WhatsApp, text or email, including your first-month discount. Our legal basis is your consent.
• Planning. To plan our classes and timetable around what people want. We look at the answers as totals. Our legal basis is our legitimate interest in running classes people want.
• Spam. To keep bots off the list. Our legal basis is our legitimate interest in a list of real people.

We make no automated decisions about you.

The list is for adults only. If you're under 18, please don't sign up. If we learn someone under 18 has joined, we'll delete their details.

Who else handles it

• Loops (Astrodon Corporation, USA) keeps our email list and sends our emails.
• Cloudflare (Cloudflare, Inc., USA) hosts this website and runs the spam check. Cloudflare also uses spam-check data to improve its bot detection, under its own Turnstile privacy notice.
• Google runs our email inbox, so it handles anything you send us by email.
• WhatsApp (WhatsApp Ireland Limited) carries our WhatsApp messages, under its own terms and privacy policy.

Apart from Cloudflare's spam-check data and WhatsApp, Loops, Cloudflare and Google use your details only to provide their service to us. Those three are certified under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, which the European Commission recognises as giving adequate protection.

We never sell your details or share them with anyone for their own marketing.

How long we keep it

If you haven't become a member within 24 months of our opening, we delete your details. If you become a member, we'll tell you then how we use your details.

If you unsubscribe, we keep only your email address and a record of your consent, so we never email you again by mistake.

Your right to object

You can object at any time to us using your details for marketing, and we'll stop. You can also object to us using your answers for planning.

Your other rights

• Unsubscribe anytime with the link in any email, or by telling us. For WhatsApp or texts, reply STOP or tell us.
• Ask for a copy of your details, or ask us to correct or delete them.
• Ask us to limit how we use them, or to give them to you in a format you can take elsewhere.
• Withdrawing consent doesn't affect anything we did before you withdrew it.

Email [email protected] and we'll reply within a month. You can also complain to the Data Protection Commission at dataprotection.ie.

Cookies

Our sign-up page sets no cookies. Its spam check reads basic details about your browser to tell people from bots. We don't use advertising or analytics tools.
