Terms
This is an earlier version, dated 20 October 2026. It was replaced on 3 November 2026. See the current terms.
For Rockies memberships and classes. Last updated 20 October 2026.
Who we are
Rockies is run by LuCo Health and Fitness Limited, registered in Ireland, company number 794364, VAT number 4734555FH. Our registered office and gym are at Unit 3, Riverside Business Park, Tinahely, Co. Wicklow, Y14 PT68.
Contact us at [email protected] or on 087 313 4820.
These terms apply when you buy anything from Rockies. They don't take away any of your rights under Irish consumer law. We must provide our classes as described, with reasonable care and skill. If we don't, you have rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2022.
You need to be 18 or over to buy or train at Rockies, for now.
Waiver
LegitFit will ask you to sign these terms. Your signature is your waiver. By signing, you confirm that:
- you've read these terms and agree to them;
- you're 18 or over;
- you'll fill in the health questionnaire honestly, and tell your coach about any injury, change in your health or pregnancy;
- you take part by choice, and you accept that exercise carries some risk of injury, such as strains or falls, even with good coaching, indoors and when running outside;
- you'll follow your coach's instructions, and stop and tell your coach if you feel unwell;
- if you're hurt or unwell, our coaches can give first aid and call an ambulance.
This waiver doesn't take away any of your rights. We're still responsible if we're negligent.
What you can buy
Every class at Rockies is coached. There is no open gym. You book every class in LegitFit, our booking system. Prices are the ones shown on rockies.ie and in LegitFit when you buy, and they include VAT.
Memberships and the drop-in cover these classes: strength., sweat., TRYKA and foundations. We may add other classes or programmes with their own price, such as courses, small group personal training or classes you bring your baby to. Memberships don't include those, and we'll say so clearly before you buy.
Memberships
- 2 classes a week: 8 classes in each 4-week period you pay for, to use however suits you.
- 3 classes a week: 12 classes in each 4-week period you pay for, to use however suits you.
- Unlimited classes: as many classes as you like.
Classes you don't use in one 4-week period don't carry over to the next. Memberships are paid every 4 weeks and keep going until you cancel.
Drop-in
One class, to use within 8 weeks of buying it. If you're ill or injured and can't use it in time, tell us and we'll extend it.
Paying
- You pay by card through LegitFit. Stripe processes the card payment. Your first payment is taken when you join. After that, a membership is charged every 4 weeks.
- If you join before we open, your first 4 weeks start on Tuesday 27 October, our opening day.
- If a payment fails, we'll try again over the following days and let you know. If it still can't be taken, your membership ends.
Cancelling a membership
You can cancel any time. There's no notice period and no minimum term. Just tell Lucy, or email [email protected]. We'll cancel it and confirm by email.
Cancelling stops your next payment. You can keep training until the end of the 4 weeks you've already paid for. If you told us before your payment date and it's taken anyway, we'll refund it.
We don't refund part of a 4-week period, except under your 14-day right to cancel below, or if we can't provide what you paid for.
Your 14-day right to cancel
If you buy online, you can cancel within 14 days of buying, for any reason. Tell Lucy, email [email protected], or use the form at the end of these terms.
We'll refund everything you paid, even if you've already started training. We'll refund you within 14 days of you telling us, to the card you paid with.
If we open late
We plan to open on Tuesday 27 October. If we open later, your membership doesn't start until we open, and we'll extend any drop-in to match. If you'd rather not wait, tell us and we'll refund you in full.
The early-access discount
We've emailed a discount code to our mailing list. It takes 25% off your first 4 weeks of any membership. After that, you pay the full price every 4 weeks. It doesn't work on the drop-in.
It runs until the date in the email that sends it. You're welcome to share it.
Freezing a membership
You can freeze a membership for 1 to 8 weeks at a time for health, family or work reasons. Tell us before your next payment date. You don't pay while it's frozen, and your payments start again when it ends. We may agree to a freeze for other reasons too.
You only need to tell us the reason in general terms. We don't need medical details.
Booking classes
- Each class takes up to 12 people, so book ahead in LegitFit.
- You can cancel a booking up to 6 hours before the class. If you cancel later than that or don't turn up, it counts as one of your classes, because someone else could have had your place. On Unlimited, if it keeps happening, we'll ask you to book only the classes you're sure of. On a drop-in, tell us and we'll move you to another class, once. If something unexpected comes up, tell Lucy.
- Please arrive on time. If you're late, your coach may ask you to warm up on your own before joining in, for your safety.
At the gym
- Wear trainers or other closed-toe shoes.
- Use only the equipment your coach has shown you, put it back after use, and tell us if anything is damaged.
- Phones on silent during classes, and respect for everyone training.
Your health and safety
- Before your first class, we'll ask you to fill in the health questionnaire in LegitFit. It helps us coach you safely. If your answers, or anything you tell us, suggest you should check with your GP first, we may ask you to do that before you start. Before each class, tell your coach about anything new that might affect how you train, such as an injury.
- If you're pregnant or have had a baby in the past year, tell your coach. Check with your GP or midwife before you start.
- Follow your coach's instructions, use the equipment as shown, and stop and tell your coach if you feel unwell.
- Some classes, such as TRYKA, include running outside on the roads and paths near the gym. Outside there's traffic, uneven ground, the weather and, in winter, the dark. Follow your coach's route and instructions. Where there's no footpath, run on the right-hand side of the road, facing oncoming traffic. Wear something bright, and something reflective when it's dark. If you'd rather not run outside, tell your coach and they'll give you an indoor option.
- Exercise carries some risk of injury, such as strains or falls, even with good coaching. We take care to keep every class safe, indoors and out.
- Nothing in these terms limits our responsibility if we're negligent, or any right you have under Irish law.
- Please leave valuables at home. We're not responsible for anything lost or damaged at the gym unless it was our fault.
Photos
We take photos and videos in classes for our website and social media. If you'd rather not appear in them, tell Lucy and we'll keep you out. Our privacy notice has the details.
Changes we may make
- The timetable. We may change class times, class types or coaches. We won't move or cancel a class you've already booked, unless a coach is ill or there's an emergency.
- Prices. We may raise prices, for example if our costs go up. If a membership price goes up, we'll tell you at least 30 days before the higher price applies. You can cancel before then.
- These terms. We may change these terms, for example if the law changes or we add new classes or services. We'll tell you about any change that affects you at least 30 days before it applies, and you can cancel if you don't accept it.
When we can end a membership
We can end a membership if someone puts other people at risk, is abusive to members or coaches, or seriously breaks these terms. We'll refund any time or classes paid for and not used.
If we ever have to close Rockies for good, we'll refund any time or classes you've paid for and not used.
Gift vouchers
When we sell gift vouchers, each one is valid for at least 5 years from the day it's bought, and shows its expiry date. You can use a voucher over more than one visit, and pass it on to someone else.
Questions and complaints
Talk to Lucy or email [email protected], and we'll try to sort it out quickly. If we can't, the Competition and Consumer Protection Commission explains your rights at ccpc.ie.
These terms are governed by Irish law.
How we use your details is in our privacy notice.
Cancellation form
You don't need to print or fill in anything. To cancel, just tell Lucy or email [email protected]. If you'd like, you can copy the wording below into your email and fill in the gaps.
